Wayfinding Signage Services

The Vendor is required to provide to furnish and install interior wayfinding signage, as well as an exterior monument sign and building identifier sign, to enhance visitor experience by reducing navigation-related stress.
- Requirements
•    Conduct a comprehensive review of the project area to gain an understanding of the site layout, key destinations, and existing vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow patterns. 
•    Perform a review of all existing signage that shall be removed, updated, or replaced to improve wayfinding, accessibility, and overall usability for all users, including individuals with disabilities, in compliance with the Americans with disabilities act (ADA) and applicable department plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the work. 
•    Perform all research, fabrication, and installation of signage. 
•    Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and coordination necessary to complete the work.
•    Ensure that no modifications are made to existing building infrastructure, including but not limited to electrical systems, structural components, or utilities, except as expressly authorized in writing by department. 
•    Electrical work shall be limited to standard sign connections unless otherwise approved. 
•    Refrain from landscaping modifications, except minor surface restoration directly resulting from installation activities, which shall be restored to equal or better condition upon completion of the work. 
•    Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and department policies. 
•    Ensure that all signage designs incorporate a consistent, branded visual identity approved by department that clearly communicate routes and destinations for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. 
•    Provide contact information on normal and emergency contacts form.
- Exterior signage:
•    Roadside wayfinding signage type “RM”.
•    New led lighted monument sign with 120 volt drivers, double faced with engineering grade vinyl face and polycarbonate protective lens measuring approximately 4 feet by 7 feet, incased with dark bronze anodize aluminum frame. 
•    Upgrading an existing concrete pad, including a new concrete pour 3’x 8’ to encapsulate the existing pad. 
•    Construction of new brick sign base measuring approximately 1’ in width x 3’tall and 7’-6” in length to accommodate the new sign. 
•    Brick color shall match existing buildings as close as possible. 
•    Color shall be approved by department. 
•    Building identifier signage type “fb”
•    New led lighted building identifier with 120 volt drivers, with channel letter signage measuring approximately 3’ feet 4” inches by 14’ feet 0”. 
•    Exterior wayfinding, post mounted signs (total of 4 signs). 20” h x 16” w. single faced .080 aluminum with engineering grade vinyl face. 
•    Removing all unused materials and debris from the project site and dispose of it in an approved department container located on the district lot
•    The contractor will not be required to make final electrical connection.
- Interior signage
•    One hundred sixty-five (185) tactile signs with windows for slide-in name tags. 7” h x 8” w type “a”.
•    Eleven (11) restroom signs. 7” h x 8” w 
•    Nine (9) wayfinding directory signs. 16” h x 20” w type “FD”. 
•    Nine (9) mechanical room signs. 7” h x 8” w 
•    Eight (8) custodial room signs. 7” h x 8” w 
•    Eleven (11) stairwell signs. 7” h x 8” w type “s”.
