The Vendor is required to provide to advance the district interpretive experience from concept to installation.
- Vendor will translate the established interpretive framework into final design, production-ready assets, and installed guest experiences aligned with learning outcomes, conservation messaging, and immersive storytelling goals.
- The interpretive framework has been completed by agency and will be provided, including:
• Core themes, sub-themes, and experience zones
• Audience and learning outcomes (Know/Feel/Do)
• Preliminary content structure and graphic hierarchy
- Responsible for providing an interpretive plan, coordination of internal stakeholders, and final approval of all content, design and messaging.
- Responsible for leading the design execution, documentation and production, managing fabrication and installation coordination, and maintaining the schedule and budget alignment.
- Translate the interpretive plan into integrated outdoor exhibit concepts across all zones (arrival, primary viewing, and secondary).
- Shall develop layouts, and placements as well as refine concepts into buildable designs including exhibit copy (interpretive + donor recognition) and materials, graphic systems and mounting strategies.
- Graphics to include:
• Entry anchor graphic
• Animal ID graphic
• 2 viewing area anchor graphics
• 2 viewing area narrative graphics
• Donor recognition graphic
• 1-2 tactile educational and/or aesthetic elements
- Shall coordinate the fabrication and review all shop drawings related to the graphics and ensure quality, durability and alignment with design intent.
- A complete construction document set, fabrication-ready files for all elements, and approved shop drawings shall be produced.
