Wayfinding Refresh Services

The Vendor is required to provide integrated professional signage, wayfinding, passenger information, and digital messaging design services in support of the concourse and c concourse wayfinding refresh projects at airport.
- Requirement:
• Review of existing architectural, mechanical, structural, and electrical conditions, available documentation, building systems, prior concourse wayfinding projects, and applicable airport design standards to inform integrated signage, passenger information and wayfinding recommendations
• Evaluation of existing wayfinding systems, passenger information environments, architectural, electrical, structural, and electrical integration conditions, sign locations, operational constraints, and supporting infrastructure, including accessibility, constructability, and code considerations
• Coordination of passenger-facing automated guideway transit system (AGTS) digital messaging and train platform information environments, including integration with broader terminal and concourse wayfinding systems
• Preparation of signage and wayfinding design deliverables, including plans, message schedules, elevations, details, and coordination drawings required for design milestones, consistent with airport updated wayfinding system and signage standards.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, technology, and life-safety disciplines to integrate signage and wayfinding into the overall project design
• Coordination of phased implementation strategies within active operational airport environments to minimize passenger disruption and maintain continuity of operations
• Facilitation of design charrettes, needs assessments, and coordination meetings with key airport stakeholders, including airport operations, concessions, maintenance, business technologies, planning and design, and others.
• Support of selected delivery method through preparation of construction-ready documentation in accordance with airport design standards and applicable codes
• Bidding-phase support related to signage and wayfinding, including responses to contractor questions and clarification of signage scope
• Construction-phase support related to signage and wayfinding systems, including review of shop drawings, responses to RFIs, and coordination with fabricators and installers
• Assistance with record documentation and project closeout related to signage and wayfinding deliverables.
