The Vendor is required to provide sign production firm to develop and implement a comprehensive wayfinding signage system along the agency.
- Tasks include:
1. Final design development
• Prepare construction-ready shop drawings.
• Verify dimensions and field conditions.
• Coordinate placement locations with city staff.
• Develop final sign layouts using approved branding standards.
2. Fabrication
• Fabricate all sign structures and panels.
• Provide tamper-resistant mounting hardware.
• Utilize weather-resistant and vandal-resistant materials.
3. Installation
• Install all signs and foundations.
• Coordinate utility locates.
• Restore disturbed areas.
- This effort requires: fabrication, delivery, and installation of:
1. 6-9 ~9' tall x 1.5' wide double-sided wayfinding signs containing the following:
• Trail name and logo
• Nearby amenities and points of interest
• Direction arrows
• Destination names
• Distance to destinations
• Estimated travel time
• Orientation map ("you are here")
• Emergency contact information
2. Approximately 33 smaller trail confirmation and directional signs to go along the trail:
• Exact sizing TBD
• Trail identification
• Mile number
3. 12 trail and greenbelt access signs directing people from throughout to trail access points:
• Replacing and expanding upon the current brown signs
• Direction arrows
• Distance to trail
4. Possibly 7-8 double-sided mileage marker signs:
• Mile number
• Emergency locator code
• Agency contact information.
