Signage and Wayfinding Program Coordinator Services

The Vendor is required to provide signage and wayfinding system across the love field expansion airport program, ensure compliance with department standards and regulatory requirements, provide program-level coordination across all design and construction projects, develop construction-phase wayfinding strategies, advance digital transformation and smart signage solutions, and enhance customer experience through intuitive navigation systems.
- Program governance and standards management
• Serve as the department’s signage and wayfinding coordinator
• Develop and maintain a leap signage governance plan
• Enforce department airport signage standards and applicable regulatory requirements
• Develop and manage:
• Design review procedures
• Submittal and approval workflows
• Variance and exception processes
• Review and provide recommendations for approval of signage-related deliverables (maybe this instead)
- Campus-wide wayfinding master planning
• Develop a comprehensive airport-wide wayfinding master plan
• Define:
• Passenger decision points
• Information hierarchy
• Circulation pathways
• Coordinate wayfinding across:
• Landside roadway systems
• Terminal environments
• Parking and ground transportation
• Airside and support facilities
- Construction phasing and temporary wayfinding
• Develop phased wayfinding strategies aligned with construction sequences
• Provide:
• Temporary signage plans
• Passenger rerouting strategies
• Detour and transition plans
• Coordinate closely with:
• Program management consultant
• Design teams
• Construction contractors
• Ensure operational continuity and passenger clarity during all phases
- Digital and smart signage integration
• Develop a digital wayfinding strategy for leap
• Recommend and implement:
• Dynamic digital signage systems
• Real-time messaging capabilities
• Integrated passenger information systems
• Ai integration
• Coordinate with department digital transformation (BIM/GIS) initiatives
• Define requirements for:
• Data integration
• System interoperability
• Future scalability
- Documentation and asset management
• Develop and maintain a signage inventory and asset database
• Integrate signage data and technology into:
• BIM systems
• GIS platforms
• Provide:
• As-built documentation
• Sign maintenance strategies.
