The Vendor is required to provide unlimited geographic information systems (GIS) services under the supervision of the city’s community safety & technology department, in support of all departments within the city.
- GIS service provider that will offer it access to GIS expertise and tools needed to stay current with technology trends and make informed decisions at a flat rate fee.
- Provide web-based GIS solutions based on the ArcGIS platform.
- GIS applications must be viewable and usable on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
- Currently has a web-based system with mapping maintained in the environmental systems research institute, Inc. (ESRI) ArcGIS mapping environment.
- Provide GIS support during normal business hours (remote support is acceptable) to include data management and routine data updates, GIS user account management, one (1) drone image of each city owned facility per year, development and management of unlimited GIS web and mobile application development and staff training.
- Prepare an annual roadmap of city’s GIS, outlining what has been accomplished over the previous year and develop a plan for what to build and deploy going forward.
- The roadmap will serve as the basis for future projects and establish a foundation for building a full-featured, robust GIS capable of streamlining workflows and empowering decision makers with the information they need, when they need it.
- The roadmap will include input and goals from key members of each department to ensure an inclusive, city-wide GIS.
- The consultant will serve as administrator for the city’s ArcGIS enterprise/online accounts.
- This will involve user, group, and content management as needed.
- Consultant will also monitor the ArcGIS online credit usage and advise the city if additional credits are required.
- When the city is ready to deploy ArcGIS enterprise, consultant will design and deploy ArcGIS enterprise in coordination with the city it division and ESRI.
- This will involve the installation and configuration of enterprise either on a city server or in the cloud.
- Provide the city with unlimited GIS support in the form of ArcGIS online management, map production, data analysis, data management, hardware, and software requirements and recommendations – including security patches and software version updates, application development, and coordination with other agencies regarding GIS for every department in the city.
- Provide continued maintenance of existing GIS tools, maps, data, and applications that have been previously deployed in the city, as well as analysis, and reporting.
- Provide custom digital mapping requests, support of GIS integration with permitting software, asset management software, and code enforcement software, creation and major updates to master address database and editing solution, major updates to storm water GIS data layer and editing solutions, migration to experience builder and new functionality for primary county WebGIS apps, support for new and existing public facing GIS applications,
- Items not included in flat rate GIS support include the following:
• Field data collection
• Large format prints
• 3d scans
• 3d tour hosting
• Schematic floor plan generation
• After-hours/weekend response.
