The Vendor is required to provide of surveying and mapping services.
- Committee shall recommend a minimum of at least two (2) surveying and mapping firms for the purpose of providing surveying and mapping services for the department of growth management and department of public works and utilities along with other city departments.
- These services are to be provided on an as-needed basis and involve definite time schedules and constraints.
- Typically, these services are utilized for researching and providing information regarding current land ownership by vesting deed, chain of title, mortgages including assignments and modifications, liens, restrictions/easements, encumbrances, and standard exceptions.
- All policies (where applicable) shall be primary and non-contributory to any insurance or self—insurance maintained by the City. Any self-insured retentions and deductibles shall be disclosed and are subject to review and approval by the city’s risk management division.
- Coverage shall apply to professional services performed under this agreement, including, as applicable:
• Surveying and mapping
• Plat review and city surveyor/mapper services
• Boundary, topographic, construction, as-built, flood zone, utility location, tree, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
• Legal descriptions and sketch of descriptions
• Subdivision plats
• Subsurface utility exploration and related mapping services
• Aerial photography and mapping professional services, where applicable
• Related professional services performed by or through subcontractors, where applicable.
