The Vendor is required to provide for professional land surveying and map checking services for the city.
- Typical services can include:
• GPS Control Surveys
• Boundary and Right of Way Surveys
• Preparation of Records of Survey, Parcel Maps, Lot Line Adjustments and Legal Descriptions/Plats
• Topographic and Base Mapping
• Construction staking
• Aerial & Lidar Mapping
• Monument Preservation
• Review and provide comments for Parcel Maps, Lot Line Adjustments and Easements
- The City land surveying and capital improvement projects include the design and construction of pipelines, roadways, storm drain systems, sanitary sewer lift stations, water well pump stations, water storage tanks, drainage basins, buildings, and wastewater treatment facilities.
- The work may also include:
• Peer review services
• Coordination with other design disciplines
• Coordination with various utilities and public agencies
• Participation in public meetings and/or workshops
- Land Surveying
• Research necessary documentation and prepare Record of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Lot Line Adjustments and other land surveying documents as needed.
• Perform construction staking, topographic mapping and monitoring for capital improvement and land surveying projects.
• Perform monument preservation and file/record associated documents with the County.
• Establish and layout boundary, property and right of way lines.
• Provide survey control using GPS and conventional methods.
• Perform other land surveying services as needed.
