Cadastral Mapping and GIS Redevelopment Services

The Vendor is required to provide geographic information system (GIS), cadastral mapping, and parcel fabric development services for the redevelopment and remapping of county’s digital parcel map system.
- The county seeks a highly accurate, countywide parcel fabric built from source legal documents, surveys, plats, deeds, public land survey system (PLSS) control, and related cadastral records.

• Redevelop and remap san county parcel data using current GIS best practices
• Improve parcel spatial accuracy countywide
• Integrate with existing technologies to provide automated updates
• Ability to integrate with AI technologies
• Ability to simplify curves from shape files
• Include monuments with specific types
• Align parcel data with updated PLSS control
• Ensure an accurate ArcGIS pro parcel fabric
• Incorporate subdivision plats, meets and bounds descriptions, rights-of-way, and other cadastral features
• Preserve and support historical parcel lineage and maintenance
• Improve interoperability with county enterprise GIS systems
• Create a long-term maintainable cadastral framework for county staff
• Provide training to county GIS and recorder staff for future maintenance.
