The vendor is required to provide that strategic and technical support for behavioral healthcare administration services leadership, coordination, and oversight of prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery support services for the following populations:
• Adults, and older adults who have a serious and persistent mental illness.
• Children and adolescents who have a severe emotional disturbance and behavioral problems.
• Individuals in acute psychiatric crisis.
• Individuals have private insurance, no insurance, or who are underinsured.
- The ability to deliver high-quality, flexible, and responsive services across multiple domains. below is a detailed description of the services and tasks required:
• Strategic planning and execution: Development by developing and implementing both short-term and long-term plans that align with organizational goals and community priorities; this includes facilitating stakeholder engagement, ensuring broad alignment with strategic objectives, and providing project management support to execute plans effectively; bidders must be capable of adapting strategies to address changing regulatory, funding, or community landscapes.
• Policy advocacy and compliance: Development by monitoring and analyzing federal, state, and local behavioral health policies and regulations, providing timely updates and insights on their potential impact; bidders will be needed to assist in developing and implementing advocacy strategies to advance the department’s behavioral health priorities; bidders will also be needed to ensure compliance with laws such as state and other relevant mandates, while offering technical assistance for audits and reporting requirements.
• Data-driven decision making: Development by developing tools and frameworks to support evidence-based management of behavioral health programs; this includes conducting data analysis to evaluate program performance, defining identifying trends, and offering actionable recommendations; bidders will also need to assist in creating performance dashboards and integrating behavioral health data systems to improve operational efficiency and outcome tracking.
• Program development and innovation: Development by designing and implementing innovative behavioral health initiatives to address emerging community needs. bidders will assist in identifying and securing funding through grants and other opportunities and will provide guidance to ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the department’s strategic objectives.
