Supplemental Behavioral Health Services

The Vendor is required to provide to supplement existing behavioral health services within our school-based health centers.
- Ensure full in-person behavioral health coverage during the school day across all high school campuses by filling in staffing gaps
- Provide services that complement and coordinate with the existing school-based health center provider and agency behavioral health staff
- Offer individual and group therapy sessions to meet the diverse needs of students
- Support a coordinated system of school-based mental and behavioral health care
- Required Services:
• Coordinate closely with the existing school-based health center provider to identify and fill gaps in behavioral health staffing at each agency high school during school hours
• Provide supplemental in-person behavioral health services as needed
• Increase in-person behavioral health support on each high school campus when students are present during the school day to meet the needs of each campus as determined by the existing school-based health center provider, and agency 
• Offer both individual and group counseling services tailored to adolescent student needs
• Collaborate with agency site-based behavioral health providers and existing health center personnel to coordinate referrals, scheduling, and care plans
• Maintain required documentation and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA regulations
• Submit monthly service reports that reflect hours covered, students served, and service types
- These services will enhance, not replace, the work of agency behavioral health staff and the existing school-based health center team.
