The vendor required to provide occupational health services for include:
• Medical examinations and testing – pre-employment, periodic, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty, and exposure-related examinations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Alcohol and controlled substance testing – dot and non-dot testing services, including administration, collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Medical oversight - ongoing oversight and consultation are provided by a licensed medical director and a qualified medical review officer (MRO).
• Reports and records – written examination summaries, laboratory results, and compliance reports submitted within required timeframes.
• Secure maintenance and transfer of all medical records.
• Technology and access - online systems to provide the city and employees with timely access to results, scheduling, and status updates.
• Training and policy support - dot-compliant supervisor training, employee education, and consultation on occupational health policies.
• Account management - a dedicated account manager to serve as the primary point of contact for the city.
