The vendor is required to provide to establish a list of recruiting firms to be utilized for on-demand recruitment of key positions.
- Consultants who may manage any or all aspects of a search process, including but not limited to job evaluations, announcing, active recruiting, vetting candidates, developing necessary assessments and coordinating their delivery, overseeing panels and town halls, conducting thorough references, and assisting agency in selecting candidates.
- Recruitment begins with a job analysis.
- This job analysis process may be handled independently or jointly with the selection process, depending on the position and both processes (job analysis and selection process) may not be performed by the same consultants.
- A thorough job analysis will include meetings with key stakeholders and collecting input from various constituents with which the position interacts.
- The outcome will be a detailed job profile with specifics on necessary and preferred qualifications and characteristics.
- The development of a detailed job analysis, agency may work with the same or different consultant to conduct any or all aspects of a search for candidates.
- The consultant involvement may vary depending on availability of budget and where the position is located.
- Depending on the needs of the college, the consultant will actively recruit candidates, collect applications of interest, respond to candidate inquiries, and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
- Interested candidates must meet minimum requirements established by the job analysis.
- The consultant will vet all candidates and only forward qualified candidates to appropriate agency staff for further consideration, based on identified criteria.
- Agency will identify a selection team that the consultant will work with to identify the top candidates for further consideration.
- Identified candidates will be invited to participate in a selection process that will include an assessment of fit.
- The consultant may develop the assessment(s), train the agency selection team as needed, schedule and facilitate the assessment(s), schedule and coordinate candidates, and work with the agency selection team to further evaluate the candidates.
- Throughout the process it will be up to the consultant to keep candidates informed of their status in the process and any changes in status.
- The top candidates for a position will be announced to the public and may be invited to participate in open forums which include employees, board members, and other community stakeholders.
- The consultant may assist agency in developing press releases and organize and facilitate the forums.
- The consultant may compile feedback from interviews and forums, conduct thorough references and background checks on candidates, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
