The vendor is required to provide employment service providers for the counties.
- As employment service system manager, the county is committed to providing innovative and efficient approaches to better connect individuals, including those in receipt of social assistance, people with disabilities, indigenous people, francophones, newcomers, black and racialized people, youth with high service needs, and others who may have unique needs, to achieve sustainable employment.
- Creating a clear path to employment for all job seekers, including those who are at risk of long-term unemployment and who face systemic or other barriers to employment.
- Oversees seven service providers and will assist over 4700 clients in finding employment.
- Employment services system that is:
• Locally responsive and community-based;
• Outcomes-focused;
• Client-centered; and
• Provides simplified and effective pathways to finding sustainable employment for individuals and employers, based on their needs.
• Demonstration of ability to deliver the highest quality services.
• Demonstration of the ability to provide timely data reporting to funders to ensure accountability to key performance indicators.
• Ability to engage in a variety of community collaborations at both the system and client service level, to drive positive outcomes for the community.
• Ability to demonstrate organizational capacity in policy, operations, quality, financial management, governance, human resources, information and privacy, and risk management.
• Ideally, an organization that has had these processes accredited.
• Demonstration of alignment to the vision, mission, and values of the county peninsula service system manager.
• Demonstrated ability to operate integrated case management with social assistance in a client-centred manner.
• Demonstrated ability to be highly accountable to outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with employers to support their needs and create exceptional outcomes for clients.
