Superintendent Search Services

The Vendor is required to provide superintendent search consultant services in filling the position of superintendent of schools. - Superintendent of schools for a k-12 public school district with at least 25,000 students.
- The successful proposer will be expected to develop and implement a search plan in accordance with the proposal requirements described herein, which may include, but is not limited to:
•    Assisting the board with the development of the timeline for the search and hiring process;
•    Assisting the board with the development of qualifications and job description of the superintendent;
•    Assisting the board with the advertisement of the position locally, statewide, and nationally;
•    Recruiting;
•    Maintaining applicant confidentiality;
•    Narrowing down the listing of applicants for consideration by the board, if requested;
•    Development of the interview process and questions as directed by the board;
•    Advising and assisting the board in defining the role of community input, if requested, implementing a process of and seeking such input;
•    Assisting the board in conducting reference checks;
•    Contacting current employers beyond reference checks; and
•    Assisting the board with the contract negotiations.
