The vendor is required to provide employment and income verification of employment and income is essential for:
• Determining eligibility for assistance programs;
• Preventing and identifying fraud;
• Determining overpayments from unreported or incorrectly reported income; and
• Locating noncustodial parents for child support obligations and other Agency programs as required.
- The solution must supply the following information, where applicable:
• Employer or Payer Information: Name, address, tax ID, and contact details of the employer (for W-2 earners) or payer and client (for 1099 earners)
• Employment or Engagement Details: Start and end dates of employment or contract, and reason for separation or contract termination
• Income and Payment Information:
o Pay frequency or payment schedule
o Hourly rate (if applicable), gross and net income
o Itemized deductions (e.g., taxes, garnishments)
o Hours worked or services rendered
o Pay or disbursement dates
o Historical income data for both W-2 and 1099 earnings.
