The Vendor is required to provide to implement and direct a comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP) for the college.
- Such EAP services will provide confidential assessment and referrals for participating employees whose work performance may be affected by issues such as alcohol or drugs, grief, stress, family problems, legal/financial problems or behavioral illnesses. Participation may be voluntary or by supervisory/management referral.
- Informs employees about EAP services available through the program by means of group meetings, training, and written publications.
- Provides training for employees on topics ranging from leadership development to effective communication. Provides training specific to managers.
- Provides confidential assessment interviews and counseling sessions, preferably in person at contractor’s place of business, for participating employees and family members, whether voluntary or supervisory/HR referred, in a professional setting ensuring confidentiality and privacy for the clients.
- Identifies, develops, provides/sponsors and promotes preventative and developmental programs, i.e., group awareness meetings for dealing with grief; avoiding financial pitfalls, coping with adolescents, coping with marital difficulties, recognizing drug and alcohol abuse, leadership, team building, conflict resolution, etc.
- Provides wellness and prevention programs and resources for employees.
- Provides supervisor consultations in collaboration with Human Resources. In collaboration with Human Resources, provides informal resolution and executive coaching services.
