The vendor required to provide superintendent search firm services for include:
• Develops and conducts search activities that result in the successful identification and selection of a superintendent with timelines that are considerate of the goals and objectives that the district has planned for this 2025-26 school year.
• Engage in candid discussions with the board of education about the board’s role in preparing to engage in the search process.
• Demonstrates a candidate selection process that identifies a diverse pool of highly qualified and competent educational leaders in districts with a similar or higher achievement and community context, reflecting a familiarity with the needs of the district’s students, and have demonstrated significant achievement in areas that we believe are priorities for our district in the next 3 - 5 years.
• Assembles a selection process following a collaborative model, including flexible timelines to accommodate feedback, should that be warranted, with the understanding that community engagement is a requirement for the selection of a superintendent.
• Sets forth search criteria that incorporate district goals and leadership characteristics that the board and community consider requisite for success.
• Advises the board of education on a compensation package that facilitates the successful recruitment and placement of a superintendent who meets the criteria and needs of the district.
