The Vendor is required to provide to expand the expanded subsidized employment (ESE) program and create more opportunities for welfare-to-work (WTW) participants seeking full-time employment.
- Support services may include, but are not limited to, transportation support, childcare, equipment purchase, etc.
- These services are meant to support the participant and remove any potential barriers from obtaining and maintaining full-time employment.
- Perform the following duties:
• Recruit and hold the contract with employers, meeting the specified criteria.
• Make reasonable efforts to coordinate recruitment efforts and not duplicate services provided by department, other agencies or employers.
• Coordinate referrals of potential participants with the employer for interviewing and selection.
• Collect and verify the accuracy of the participant’s earnings.
• Submit notifications, claiming reports and documentation to department timely as outlined in the contract; and
• Follow the instructions in department ESE handbook.
- Recruit and contract with employers to facilitate filling full-time, permanent positions with the employer, and act as the fiscal agent for this program, tracking the employment and verifying the accuracy of the wages paid to eligible ESE program participants.
