The Vendor is required to provide training providers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training that enhances workforce skills, performance, and engagement for agency and municipal employees.
- Provide to design and deliver interactive, outcome focused training programs that strengthen employee skills, engagement, and performance.
- Training topics may include, but may not be limited to leadership, communication, teamwork, time management, ethical behavior, and other professional or technical competencies.
- The vendor shall supply all training materials, coordinate scheduling, and provide attendance and evaluation reports. Experience in public sector training, adult education, and customized curriculum development is required.
- Provide services that include curriculum design, instructor-led facilitation (in person and/or virtual), and evaluation of learning outcomes.
- This includes not only roads and bridges but also the state's rail stations, bike paths, and ferry service.
- To maintain and expand both service quality and efficiency, the state must ensure that its existing labor force and incoming employees possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve its strategic goals.
- The availability of effective training programs is crucial for the state’s ability to attract, retain, and develop the workforce.
- The selected vendors shall develop and deliver training across multiple domains, including staff development, leadership and management, organizational capacity building, executive leadership, computer, professional and interpersonal skills.
- Additional offerings will include technical, transportation-related, and safety training designed to meet the diverse needs of both office-based and field personnel.
- Examples of specific training topics include, but are not limited to project management, coaching and mentoring, leading people, critical thinking, managing constructive conflict, customer service, safety protocols, project planning, CDL preparation, chainsaw safety, plan reading, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, welding, scheduling, construction math, and other technical competencies that support road and bridge construction, maintenance, and municipal operations.
- These training programs will enhance employee skills, strengthen workplace effectiveness, and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
