The Vendor is required to provide the HR consultant services.
- Authority provides quality, affordable housing to low-income families and seniors through various affordable housing programs.
- Hold office hours on-site (minimum two days per week).
- Review the Housing Authority’s compensation and benefits package.
- Provide recruiting and hiring support, including preparing and posting job advertisements, screening resumes, preparing hiring manager for applicant interviews, conducting / coordinating reference and background checks, and conducting the new hire orientation and on boarding.
- Review and update new hire orientation packet and process.
- Arrange and/or provide training on HR-related matters, including civil rights compliance (non-harassment, anti-discrimination, etc.), performance management, communication best practices, and interviewing and selecting job applicants.
- Coordinate and track leaves of absence.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues and grievances.
- Assist with the performance evaluation process.
- Assist in counseling and disciplining employees.
- Collaborate with staff and legal counsel on all pending HR matters.
