RFP Description

The vendor required to provide business recruitment consultant services role manages a portfolio of assigned business client files and manages business recruitment projects from start to finish.
- Requirement:
•    Communicates effectively with state local economic development communities regarding real estate searches relating to site selection opportunities, requests and business attraction project updates. 
•    Leads and manages business recruitment projects from start to finish in a timely and professional manner. 
•    Advances business recruitment project proposals in coordination with state local economic development professionals, site selectors, private sector partners, and utility partners to ensure the appropriate and accurate information is submitted. 
•    Becomes proficient in state incentive programs
o    Works in partnership with department staff. 
o    Acquires foundational knowledge of support documentation and incentive proposal application completion requirements. 
o    Adheres to the department of commerce incentive proposal application processes.
•    Documents business recruitment project activity and follow-up communication in salesforce, the customer relation management (CRM) system, for the department. 
•    Serves as an advocate for state to encourage clients to visit communities and make on-site visits to properties and state resources. 
•    Is familiar with the real estate, transportation, and education assets throughout the state. 
•    Represent the department economic development related events, tradeshows, conferences, and other activities. 
•    Strategically employs a mix of department tools, industry data, and direct outreach for lead identification that results in business relocation and expansion projects. 
•    Develops and maintains a broad professional network with site location consultants and companies within the assigned geographic region to achieve measurable outcomes. 
•    Works in partnership with the department marketing team for events within the assigned coverage area. 
•    Can balance working independently while embracing a team environment within the division.
