• This position has overall responsibility for future planning and growth forecasting of all services in the agency system.
• The position is responsible for the oversight, analysis, creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the services and service plans to balance ridership needs and fiscal responsibility.
• The position will also support, as needed, agency planning and technical liaison with regional municipal planning efforts, ensuring that agency is aware of and planning for regional growth and development.
• The position also directly supervises the service planning team and works in collaboration with other agency leadership team members and community stakeholders to maximize ridership, revenue, and efficiency.
- Safety Manager - $73,723.83-$83,500.00
• The safety manager is responsible for agency overall safety program and serves as agency chief safety officer for matters of federal regulatory compliance.
• As chief safety officer, the safety manager has the authority and responsibility for day-to-day implementation and operation of the agency safety management system (SMS), as defined in the agency public transportation agency safety plan.
• The position is responsible for the development, refinement, implementation and enforcement of agency plan and shall prepare and submit all federal reports required by the plan.
• The position conducts investigations related to incidents/accidents and workers' compensation claims, and it works with various agency departments to develop safety training, policies and procedures.
• The position is classified as a safety sensitive position as defined by the federal transit administration (FTA).
