The Vendor is required to provide pre-dispositional placement services.
- A pre-dispositional placement may occur when a Persons in Need of supervision (PINS) petition has been filed against a youth, but prior to a dispositional hearing in family court.
- Predispositional placements are time-limited.
- Youth and their families are expected to be involved meaningfully at the service delivery, management and policy levels.

- The court finds, pursuant to the evidentiary standards applicable to a hearing on a felony complaint in a criminal court, that such probable cause exists; and
- Special circumstances exist, in which case such pre-dispositional placement may be extended for not more than an additional three days, exclusive Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- A pre-dispositional placement is not considered to be foster care. As such, existing foster care contracts and/or prevention contracts cannot be utilized for the provision of this service.
- Payment for utilization of pre-dispositional placements will be made on a monthly basis.
