The vendor is required to provide recruitment services for the position of regional emergency manager.
• Assist board in updating the job description;
• Prepare and place job posting, website and social media postings, locally, regionally and provincially;
• Personally reach out to potential candidates (e.g. Known individuals, referrals, or staff and board suggestions);
• Accept and review candidate resumes or CVs;
• Conduct preliminary screening of candidates;
• Short-list candidates according to established criteria (to be discussed with the board);
• Prepare interview questions;
• Schedule interviews of short-listed candidates with board;
• Attend and participate in interviews;
• Assist board with evaluation of interviewees;
• Conduct reference checks (including criminal reference check and drivers abstract) of preferred candidates;
• Contact successful candidate and assist board with negotiation of offer of employment.
