The Vendor is required to provide executive search firm to assist in the recruitment and selection of a director of human services
- This position oversees one of the County’s largest and most complex departments, responsible for delivering a broad continuum of social, behavioral health, child welfare, aging, housing, and community support services.
- Given the critical importance of this role to the well-being of residents and the strategic direction of human services delivery, the county requires a search partner with demonstrated expertise in identifying highly skilled, mission driven leaders for large public-sector, health and human services, or nonprofit organizations.
- Support the county in developing a strong candidate pool, conducting a comprehensive and equitable search process, and ensuring the successful recruitment of an exceptional leader.
- Provide the following services:
• Develop a recruitment strategy tailored to the County’s needs, organizational culture, and priorities.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement (as requested) to refine the leadership profile and position specifications.
• Produce a position announcement and candidate outreach materials.
• Execute an active national recruitment, including targeted outreach and passive candidate sourcing.
• Screen candidates, conduct preliminary interviews, and present a qualified, diverse slate.
• Support the County through interview scheduling, candidate evaluations, reference checks, and final selection steps.
• Assist with negotiation and onboarding as needed.
