The Vendor is required to provide executive search firm to assist in all phases of recruitment and selection of an Executive Director.
- The executive director serves as the chief executive officer of the association and reports directly to the agency board of directors.
- The executive director is responsible for strategic leadership, member engagement, statewide transit advocacy, financial oversight, and management of agency programs including training, conferences, and consortium services.

• Meet with agency Board of Directors to understand organizational priorities
• Develop a position profile and candidate success profile
• Establish recruitment strategies and outreach plan

• Conduct a proactive national search
• Identify and directly recruit qualified candidates
• Utilize professional networks and industry outreach
• Promote the position through targeted recruitment channels
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation
• Review applicant materials
• Conduct initial candidate interviews
• Evaluate qualifications and leadership experience
• Verify professional references
- Candidate Presentation
• Provide the board with a list of potential candidates with summaries and evaluation reports
- Interview Coordination
• Assist in scheduling and facilitating interviews
• Provide interview guidance and evaluation tools for the Board
- Background and Reference Checks
• Conduct background verification and reference checks for finalists.
- Compensation Benchmarking
• Provide compensation analysis for comparable executive roles in similar organizations to assist agency in establishing a competitive compensation package.
- Offer and Negotiation Support
• Assist the Board with final candidate selection and offer negotiations.
