The Vendor is required to provide staffing and recruiting firms to provide Direct Hire staffing services on an as‑needed basis.
- These services will support the hiring needs of all 58 colleges.
- Comprehensive recruitment services for positions across the following functional areas:
• Academic & Instructional Support, Business, Finance & Administration, Facilities, Security & Operations, Information Technology & Digital Learning, Instructors Faculty (Full Time All Vacancies), Senior Leadership & Executive Roles, Student Services & Enrollment, Workforce & Continuing Education.
- If a position is or partially federally funded, the participating community college will inform the Vendor prior to placing direct hire employee.
- Forklift certification is a requirement in the shipping/receiving area.
- Classes are available and the related cost may be covered by the college.
- The participating community college will inform the Vendor of PPE prior to placing direct hires. Job duties will depend on the additional requirements of each participating community college position. Mandated Paid Time Off, Vacation, etc., if applicable, will be determined by the participating community college.
- A Vendor Management System, utilized to manage order requests and requisitions, may be used and will depend on the participating community college.
- A Managed Service Provider (MSP) utilized or is this program run and managed by State may be used and will depend on the participating community college.
- Certain Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruit, screen, interview, and assign Placements to perform the duties and tasks associated with the direct hire position in question, as those duties and tasks are described in the relevant job. The Vendor will collaborate with participating community colleges to develop the job descriptions, duties, expectations, and minimum qualifications associated with each direct hire position eligible for bidding.
• Pay Placements’ wages and provide them with any benefits to which they are entitled through Vendor;
• Pay, withhold, and transmit payroll taxes;
• Provide unemployment insurance and workers’ compensation benefits for Placements, and
• Handle all unemployment and workers’ compensation claims involving Placements
