The Vendor is required to provide recruiter coordinators' contract is being put in place for recruiting potential at-risk candidates.
- Cadet recruiting coordinators will be required to travel, state and any place required for staff, mentor, cadet training, and cadet transport if necessary.
- Promote the challenge program and provide information to prospective applicants.
- Develop, maintain, and correspond (in person, telephone, email, social media, letters, etc.) with a network of gatekeepers, sources of referrals, for at-risk youth including, but not limited to: circuit courts, school officials, mental health providers, and other state agencies to maximize recruits within the region.
- The initial first interview will be in-person or virtual, with willing participant and parent or legal guardian.to determine applicant acceptability and ensure submission of a complete application for acceptability.
- Address applicant questions and concerns prior to admissions.
- Applications will not be accepted for consideration until they are complete with a willing participant, documentation is complete and accurate; and the participant has been approved mentally and physically capable of completing the program.
- Assist with planning and executing special outreach events, such as the following: academy tours, open house, family and mentor days, etc. and to facilitate recruiting and public relations across the regions.
