The Vendor is required to provide to lead and facilitate the recruitment and selection of a director of infrastructure and development.
- Work will include but not be limited to the following activities:
• Develop a search strategy and project plan based on the town’s needs.
• Update the job description, prepare an opportunity profile and advise on the compensation package for the director of infrastructure and development position.
• Prepare and advertise any materials needed to attract and reach qualified candidates.
• Generate, source, and assess potential candidates.
• Respond, on behalf of the employer, to inquiries from any potential candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Receive, assess and screen all applications; schedule and conduct pre-screening interviews.
• Compile a shortlist of candidates for review, assessment, and interview with the town. Prepare the interview panel for interviews as required.
• Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews with the town.
• Confirmation of qualifications and credentials of top candidate(s).
• Complete and provide documentation of background and reference checks on top candidate(s).
• Meet with the town to determine a preferred candidate.
• Review employment agreement terms and provide recommendations including final offer terms for approval.
• Negotiate, on behalf of the employer, a job offer and conditions of employment inclusive of salary and start date.
• Should the director of infrastructure and development be terminated for cause or resign within 12 months, the consultant shall be responsible for conducting a replacement search at no charge to the town.
