The Vendor is required to provide to conduct an independent and objective audit of the District’s current Human Resources practices.
- The internal audit function provides significant value to the District by serving as an unbiased resource that assists leaders in identifying and addressing critical operational and compliance concerns that could prevent the District from achieving its goals.
- The preliminary audit objectives are to:
• Assess compliance and best practices with recruiting, hiring, promotion, and separation requirements.
• Evaluate staffing authorization and budget alignment controls and determine whether staffing levels and allocations are systematically aligned with approved budgets and funding sources.
• Determine if investigations are conducted timely in accordance with required procedures, and if investigation outcomes are consistently applied.
• Determine if roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
