The Vendor is required to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides confidential assessment and therapeutic counseling and/or treatment services for eligible University employees, their legal dependents, and individuals living in their household (Covered Individuals), whether Covered Individuals are voluntary or referred by a supervisor to address identified problems.
- The University’s goal is to promote enhanced productivity in the workplace, retain valued employees, and promote a productive environment by providing outside support for a variety of issues that may be affecting an employee’s performance.
- Professional Services shall address such as but not limited to the following:

- Appropriate credentials and experience for people who perform organizational assessment and consultation services.
- An active clinical license that reflects competency in activities such as individual assessment, short-term problem resolution, threat of violence and related EAP tasks.
