The Vendor is required to provide high-volume recruitment services in support of hiring for three (3) new community recreation facilities with an estimated opening between 2028 and 2029.
- Multi-channel sourcing and advertisement management
• Designing and executing multi-channel sourcing campaigns for high-volume auxiliary recruitment (including social media, job boards, post-secondary and community partnerships, and targeted outreach), with a proven track record of attracting and recruiting a diverse workforce that reflects the communities the city serves.
- End-to-end high-volume recruitment delivery
• Delivering full-cycle, high-volume recruitment for auxiliary workforces, including: candidate sourcing and pipeline development; on-site and virtual recruitment events; resume screening and pre-screening; shortlisting against defined criteria; coordination and facilitation of testing and assessments (including in-water testing for aquatics roles where applicable); interview coordination and facilitation; reference checking; and offer and onboarding coordination.
- Recruitment technology and platform integration
• Confirm potential capacity to work within the city's applicant tracking system, or describe the vendor's own platform and integration approach with the city's HRIS (sap) for candidate and new hire data transfer.
- Reporting and metrics
• Ability to provide regular, structured reporting on key recruitment activities and performance indicators.
- Compliance and labour relations awareness
• Understanding of auxiliary recruitment within a unionized municipal environment, including respect for items such as posting requirements and bargaining unit considerations applicable to auxiliary positions.
