The Vendor is required to provide executive search firm will be expected to work with the board of trustees, executive committee, board chair, and presidential search committee to:
• Recommend the approach and methodology to be used for the search and selection process, and work with the college to adjust that approach as needed for the college's unique needs.
• Serve as a consultant to the college to develop and facilitate the search process, including establishing and recommending a timeline.
• Respond to requests from the committee within 24 hours.
• Assist with the development of the position description and search profile.
• Develop advertisements and brochures announcing the position.
• Post the open position for applications based on the established timeline.
• Assist with the development of the screening and interviewing process.
• Develop a qualified applicant pool for the position.
• Recruit candidates to the position; actively pursue a diverse group of applicants from different backgrounds.
• Assist with the review and preliminary screening of applicants.
• Serve as a liaison between the board of trustees, board chair, and presidential search committee and applicants.
• Perform written reference checks and background checks for semi-finalists and finalists.
• Coordinate the schedules for campus visits and interviews for finalist candidates.
• Provide recommendations and ongoing assessments related to the search and selection process.
• Provide and submit reports to the college upon request.
• Communicate regularly and frequently with the college on timelines, information, and search progress.
• Provide all products in "final" form unless specified otherwise.
• Format, edit, and proof all submitted documents.
• Execute and adhere to a confidentiality agreement regarding the exchange of information during and after the search.
• Perform duties within the scope of a presidential search as designated by the college.
• Assist in providing information on contract and compensation packages
• Develop and exercise a transparent search process for all college constituencies, particularly with the presidential search committee.
• Provide a first-round list of no less than eight (8) qualified candidates to be presented to the search committee.
• First round candidates will be interviewed via zoom or similar technology.
