The vendor is required to provide public response dispatcher (PRD) recruitment serves a critical frontline communications role within the department, responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching appropriate resources, accurately documenting incidents, and communicating effectively under stress.
- Agency experience & background
• Recruiting for public safety, emergency dispatch, communications centers, law enforcement support roles, or similarly high-pressure operational positions.
• Agency’s history, scale of operations, geographic reach and number of clients serviced, including any public sector or law enforcement clients.
• Description of experience with candidate vetting processes such as background checks, behavioral screening, skill testing, and job specific suitability assessments.
• Any relevant certifications, professional affiliations, or specialized recruitment capabilities.

• Recruitment strategies (e.g., targeted advertising, outreach to specialized talent pools, job fairs, community partnerships, vocational program coordination).
• Screening and vetting methodology, such as:
• Call center competency assessments,
• Multi-tasking or stress management evaluations,
• Typing or data entry proficiency,
• Behavioral interviews and communication skill screening, and
• Public safety or dispatch specific testing.
• Processes for preparing suitable candidate shortlists, including timelines and deliverables.
• Any technology platforms or tools used in recruiting and vetting.
