The Vendor is required to provide multiple international student recruitment agents to promote state academic programs and intensive English instruction and find prospective students to undertake state academic programs and intensive English studies.
- Requirement:
• Market the university to prospective students in country.
• Generate an optimal number of leads of prospective international students interested in enrolling for in person classes at the university programs and intensive English programs.
• Compile and forward admissions applications to the university that meets admission standards on university’s website.
• Assist in the preparation of the prospective international student to successfully participate in the country f-1 visa application process that occurs at American consulates.
• Recruit students who would not qualify for an f-1 visa for any reason.
• Screen prospective students for financial assets, qualifications for admission to the university, and English language proficiency, to the extent possible.
• Make reasonable efforts to assure that the applications submitted to the university are complete.
• Responsible for paying all staff hired or retained by contractor to assist with fulfilling contractor’s duties and requirements under this agreement, and contractor is further responsible for paying any taxes that are levied upon such payments by any jurisdiction.
• Any and all payments by the university will be directed solely to contractor.
• Entitled to a commission paid by the university only after prospective international students apply to the university, are admitted, travel to the university campus on an f-1 visa and enroll in the university for in-person classes, paid their student bill in full, and deadlines to drop enrollment in the university and receive a refund of any portion of tuition have passed.
• University shall retain full discretion and control of admissions decisions consistent with its internal policies and procedures.
• Regularly report to university progress in its recruitment of international students through surveys university contractor sends and semester check-in calls.
• Recruit students from diverse geographic regions who are living outside of the country.
• Recruit students for multiple academic units/departments available at university, not limited to stem degrees and majors.
• Maintain and treat as confidential all student information collected by contractor.
• Such information shall not be disclosed to any third-party or be used for any purpose other than as provided for under the terms of the agreement.
• Market and promote university’s educational services with due care and diligence and seek to protect the image of the university and improve the university’s reputation in the foreign country.
• Comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions from university, from time to time, concerning the marketing of educational services.
• Keep the university informed, via email, of contractor’s marketing and promotional activities, and all translated materials must be approved by the university before publication online or in print.
• Be responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or approvals that are necessary or advisable in the country and otherwise for the marketing and promotion of university’s educational services.
• Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in the foreign country and otherwise relating to the marketing and promotion of university’s educational services and such other services being provided by contractor.
• Promote itself in a professional and ethical manner and ensure that its marketing and other services and activities reflect best practice.
