Professional Recruiting Services for a Presidential Search including but not limited to assistance with:
• The development of a recommended approach for recruiting, screening, and evaluating candidates (search methodology).
• Assuming primary responsibility for actively reaching out and soliciting individuals with superior qualifications to encourage their inclusion in the pool of prospects. This includes contacting potentially qualified candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, including those with experiences outside academia. Efforts may range from distributing announcements in professional journals to extensive personal interactions with prospective candidates.
• Maintain all applications, resumes, and related materials in a manner consistent with Florida and federal law requirements and designed to preserve the confidentiality of all prospects for the position.
• Convene meetings and engage in active and ongoing interaction throughout all stages of the recruitment and selection process with members of the District Board of Trustees and the Vice President for Human Resources, Talent, and Culture.
• Assisting in the review and summary of all applications.
• Prepare and present interim progress reports to the District Board of Trustees as requested.
• Facilitate Board interviews of final candidates and assist in finalizing the terms and conditions of employment for the successful candidate, if requested.
• Provide a list of references for candidates identified as semi-finalists.
• Prepare a position profile to inform potential candidates about the College and the necessary qualifications, opportunities, and challenges of this position.
• Initiating a wide-ranging advertising and outreach strategy.
• Providing drafts of correspondence and communication to the District Board of Trustees and candidates.
Proposals for HRE-0706 are due by October 8, 2026.
