Water Treatment Services for HVAC and Biosolids

The Vendor is required water treatment services for HVAC and biosolids for eleven locations.
• Comprehensive water treatment services for various mechanical and water systems throughout its eleven facilities.
• Services must maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• The contract must monitor and control corrosion, scale, algae, anaerobic bacteria, and slime in all heating and air conditioning equipment, water softeners, glycol systems, and decorative fountains.
• Systems will include, but are not limited to, steam, hot water (for heating), condensate, chilled water, and condenser water for both open and closed systems.
• HVAC Equipment for all WSSC Water Locations
• The Contractor must perform the following:
• Conduct the initial system inspections and submit an Initial Water Analysis Report within two (2) weeks of Notice to Proceed (NTP) from the contract start date.
• Supply and apply necessary water treatment chemicals as needed to maintain required levels.
• Install and maintain chemical treatment equipment (e.g., pumps, feeders, controllers).
• Maintain operational efficiency of all specified systems through regular monitoring and chemical closing.
• Manage chemical usage and safety compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and local regulations.
• Maintain water softeners and decorative fountain systems.
• Respond to and complete any additional work only with prior written approval.
