The Vendor is required to provide secure confidential on-site document shredding services.
- Provide (5) 32-gallon consoles (36" H x 20 1/2' x 16" D) secure bins for monthly pick-ups.
- Providing secure shredding services, which are crucial for protecting sensitive information, enhancing data privacy, and promoting compliance with health information regulations.
- Equipment Specifications:
• Mobile shredding trucks must be equipped with industrial-grade shredding machinery capable of destroying documents to a shred size of 1/8 inch or smaller.
• The shredding vehicle must comply with all safety and environmental regulations pertinent to mobile operations. - All personnel involved in shredding services must undergo background checks and training regarding confidentiality and security practices.
- Trained staff must handle all shredding processes to ensure compliance with agency confidentiality requirements.
- Secure transport and handling of documents prior to shredding must be maintained to prevent unauthorized access and protect sensitive information.
- Shredding activities must be performed in a secure area on agency premises, ensuring no unauthorized personnel have access to the materials or the shredding process.
