Secure Destruction Services

The vendor required to provide secure destruction services, including bulk and routine shredding, on a task-driven and variable-volume basis.
- Requirement:
•    Pickup of boxes, secured cages and bins containing protected b material from statistics country designated loading dock or pickup area, Monday-Friday within the hours of 7:00-15:00 (regular daytime business hours). 
•    Maintenance of documented chain of custody from pickup through destruction. 
•    Transport of materials securely to the contractor’s approved destruction facility (mobile shredding trucks are not permitted for mandatory services). 
•    Destruction of materials in accordance with RCMP and PSPC-approved destruction standards applicable to protected b information. 
•    Signed certificates of destruction for each batch destroyed.
•    Replace full bins with an empty bin at time of pick to maintain services, and return of empty cages to statistics country following destruction, if applicable. 
•    Support of variable volumes and frequencies, including peak periods, without penalties or fees beyond agreed unit pricing.
- Optional on-site (mobile) shredding:
•    Provide optional mobile shredding services at statistics country or administrative hubs premises. 
•    Such services may be requested by the contracting authority, if available. 
•    Mobile shredding is not mandatory and will not be evaluated.
•    Mobile shredding services must comply with all security, privacy, and protected b handling requirements. 
•    Certificates of destruction must be provided for all mobile shredding batches and meet the same RCMP and PSPC standards as off-site destruction. 
•    Mobile shredding vehicles may access statistics country or administrative hubs premises only under continuous supervision of authorized statistics country personnel and must follow all site security protocols. 
•    The contracting authority reserves the right to approve or decline the use of mobile shredding services during contract execution.
