The vendor is required to provide early childhood mental health consultation services to support early learning professionals in classrooms serving children aged 0–3 years.
- A pilot initiative to strengthen early childhood educators' capacity to support young children's mental health and emotional development through classroom-based consultation, coaching, and reflective practices.
• Two in-person classroom engagements per month per teacher, with documented observations and short-term goals
• Monthly reflective practice cohort meetings to support mental health and emotional well-being of teachers
• One-on-one and group reflective coaching sessions with classroom and site staff
• Coordination with the quality initiatives team to identify and procure classroom support materials
• Referral services for both families and ECE providers to appropriate community resources
• Support for family engagement, including assistance with parent workshops focused on behavior management and social-emotional development
• Referral of ECE providers to relevant professional development opportunities
• Collaboration with agency inclusion specialists and family navigators to provide referral services and support through help me grow state
• Assistance with the implementation of policies and practices that foster emotionally supportive classroom environments.
