The vendor is required to provide remote payroll processing services on an interim basis.
- The selected firm will work closely with our finance department to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration during a period of increased workload and operational transition.
- Include for services:
• Payroll processing: accurately process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 90 salaried and/or hourly employees, including deductions.
• Wage and tax calculation: ensure the correct calculation of gross-to-net pay, tax withholdings (federal, provincial, and local), and deductions for benefits, garnishments, and other authorized items.
• Payroll tax compliance: prepare, file, and remit all required payroll taxes and reports to the appropriate authorities in compliance with applicable laws and deadlines.
• Employee payments: facilitate issuance of direct deposits and/or physical paychecks to employees, including generation of electronic or printed pay stubs.
• Reporting: generate standard and customized payroll reports, including earnings summaries, tax filings, and deduction registers, to be provided to management upon request or on a regular schedule.
• Confidentiality and data security: maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll data and ensure all information is securely managed in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Technology familiarity: firms must have experience using Ceridian payroll software.
• Familiarity with BambooHR is considered an asset, as our HRIS system is integrated with payroll processes.
• Remote service delivery: all payroll operations must be managed remotely, with regular virtual communication and responsiveness to inquiries from the finance team.
