The Vendor is required to provide of professional recruitment consulting services to source and acquire qualified candidates.
- Consultants on the agency will be contacted to submit proposals on an "as required" basis, depending on the type of position the City must recruit.
- Consultant is selected to lead the recruitment activity, the services provided to the City will include, but are not limited to:
• Complete sourcing and recruitment services;
• Development of a candidate profile and sourcing strategy;
• Identify potential candidates (both active and passive job seekers);
• Participate in the candidate evaluation process, including sourcing and screening candidates, the creation of interview guide questions, scheduling interviews, interview evaluation recommendations, and arranging travel accommodations for the candidate(s) as required;
• Completion of reference and background checks in accordance with City policy;
• Recruitment process to be initiated within one (1) week of the acceptance of service proposal;
• Provide support in negotiating the candidate's starting salary and working conditions; and
• Conduct and liaise the onboarding process for the candidate and hiring manager.
- Professional and executive recruitment services may include, but are not limited to, the following types of positions:
• Executive;
• Senior Management;
• Management;
• Human Resources;
• Information Technology;
• Finance;
• Skilled professional positions such as:
o Planning;
o Engineering;
• Niche positions such as:
o Assessment & Taxation;
o Cyber Security;
o Privacy; and
o Public and Council relations.
