Pharmacy Services

The Vendor is required to provide supporting pharmacy services for long-term care and senior services, the city is seeking information on the following:
• Provide a brief description of your organization, its age, its staffing and its core business functions and focus currently
• Provide a contact name, e-mail and telephone number for someone within your organization that can field such conversations.
• Hold a certificate of accreditation for the operation of the pharmacy under section 139 of the drug and pharmacies regulation act.
• Is the organization able to send a pharmacist into the long-term care building during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, at least three times/week @ half days- full days to attend and participate in:
o Care conferences (Tuesdays/Thursdays)
o Physician advisory and medication management committee meetings (quarterly)
o Medication room audits (quarterly)
o Monthly narcotic destruction and audit
o Quality improvement initiatives
• Pharmacist on call 24/7 and available to fill prescriptions at any time, currently within a 30- minute drive of pioneer ridge, or how would you satisfy the need for timely medication delivery
• Provide an emergency box containing medication for after-hour orders
• Have the capability, or potential interest, to build an on-site pharmacy and facility
• Software does your organization use that is compatible with point click care.
