The vendor is required to provide for cancer screening services for agency fire fighters.
- We would like to be proactive in efforts toward the health and safety of our firefighters currently, there are a total of 105 firefighters who will receive services.
- A total of 99 males. 46 under the age of 39 and 53 above the age of 40.
- A total of 6 females. 4 under the age of 39 and 2 above the age of 40.
- Provide education on the following:
• Risk of cancer among firefighters
• Exposures and disease outcomes
• Cancer prevention
- Medical Screening and Assessment
• Provide services for screenings: oncology (all), urology and prostate cancer screening (males age 40+), dermatology and full body skin exams (all), low dose lunk CT (age 40+), whole body MRI (age 40+), multi-cancer early detection liquid biopsy test (all), at breast ultrasound (females).
• Access to preventative screenings utilizing the latest technology for scans and blood work.
• Provide medical counseling after the conclusion of the screening process; conduct a thorough, in-depth evaluation that identifies the presence of a found ailment and determines its severity (diagnosis stage).
• Cancer awareness and prevention resources
• Screening for various cancers, scans, blood work, and medical counseling
• Provide a list of all tests for early detection
• Diagnosis and treatment resources
• Aim to provide assistance and screenings promptly
