Background Investigations Services

The Vendor is required to provide for criminal history background checks on all volunteer youth athletic coaches.
- These checks will be processed by collecting applications and processing input as required. An application must include a volunteer legal name, address, date of birth, driver's license number, social security number, and be signed and dated.
- Complimentary Consultation - Provider must provide consultation to clarify screening results and provide technical assistance and guidance regarding updating practices.
- Secure online applications processing capabilities for each evaluation (coach).
- Required to process between 600-800 applications annually.
- Timely results - the background screening process should be timely, and results should be returned within 2 business days on average to allow for proper planning and assignment of volunteers.
- Cost and ability to search all 50 states for the records.
- National Criminal Data Base Search
- Validate Volunteer Identity and address through information collected from the application, legal name, date of birth (DOB), social security number (SSN), and driver's license.
