Criminal Background Check Services

The Vendor is required to provide criminal background checks services for agency.
- Criminal Record Reports.
•    Conduct a nationwide (multi-state) criminal history and sex offender search,
•    Lifetime sex offender under state sex offender registration program or with respect to the States where the subject is known to have resided,
•    Conviction of a drug related criminal activity for manufacture or production of methamphetamine,
•    Drug related criminal activity not related to evictions,
•    Criminal activity (both felony and/or misdemeanors),
•    Alcohol abuse,
•    Fraud in connection with any federally assisted housing program including intentional misrepresentation of information related to their application or benefits,
•    Illegal use of a drug.
- Fingerprint Report/FBI Report
•    Fingerprinting capture device (live scan fingerprint machine or equivalent)
•    Laptop(s) and/or workstation(s) dedicated to fingerprint capture and submission functions
•    Required peripherals (camera, signature pad, printer, scanner, etc.), if applicable
•    All cables, connectors, and support equipment required for full system operation
•    Any required electronic storage, backup, or secure transmission devices
•    All equipment must be new (unless otherwise approved by the agency) and capable of meeting federal state transmission standards.
- Software must include:
•    Fingerprint capture and quality validation
•    Applicant data entry and record management
•    Secure upload/transmission functionality to the FBI (and other applicable entities)
•    Ability to retrieve and manage returned results/reports where permitted
•    Audit trail/logging capability for submissions and results
- Administrative requirements
•    Provide sample reports and free training on the protocol for submission and on interpretation of reports,
•    Ensure that any information provided to contractor is maintained confidentially and not misused or improperly disseminated,
•    Maintain accurate dates and records of criminal history requests and replies.
