- The majority of the work involves transcribing recordings of administrative hearings for filing in circuit court as part of an administrative review case.
- Transcripts from digital voice recording:
• Administrative hearings include, but are not limited to, cases involving issues such as abuse and neglect, service appeals, licensing, level of care, payment and excess revenue.
• Digital voice recordings will be provided to the vendor on cd or flash drive media.
• Digital voice recordings are downloaded to cd or flash drive using windows 7 or 8 operating systems.
• Employees must adhere to strict confidentiality requirements and may not release any information or transcripts to anyone not a party to the hearing.
- Court reporting services:
• The department may occasionally request a certified shorthand court reporter to be present to transcribe various administrative hearings throughout county and the collar counties for the entire length of the administrative hearing.
