The Vendor is required to provide certified shorthand (stenographic) reporting (CSR), and transcription services for administrative hearings conducted by the department Office.
- When a stenographer is required, the Contractor will provide services either in person at the designated hearing location or through a video conferencing platform, as directed by office.
- A stenographer is not required, the Contractor will accurately and completely transcribe (convert into written text) audio and video-recorded proceedings of administrative hearings in accordance with office instructions.
- Its employees, agents, or subcontractors will promptly transmit all requests for transcripts or digital copies initiated by an external entity to office.
- On-site: Services will be performed at applicable state-owned facilities in the state.
- Remote: Through video conferencing platforms when directed by office for virtual hearings; and
- Off-site: At the Contractor’s place of business when attendance at the hearing is not required, to provide transcription services for video-recorded hearings.
- provide additional digital copies upon request, billed at the Contractor’s established flat rate.
- Its employees, agents, or subcontractors will not provide transcripts in any format to individuals who are not parties to the matter for which the transcript is requested without prior written authorization from the department office contract manager or an authorized office representative.
