Stenographic Reporting Services

The Vendor is required to provide stenographic reporters and videographers at matters requiring a stenographic record, the simultaneous stenographic capture of all remarks made on the record at the proceedings or matters, and the subsequent production and delivery of word processed and printed verbatim transcripts of the proceedings or matters.
- Agency assumptions regarding contractor approach
•    Provide stenographic reporting services pursuant to the terms and conditions as set forth in the contracts to be awarded by the department.
•    The ability to dispatch simultaneously a reasonably large number of available stenographic reporters to cover matters requiring a written transcript.
•    Ensure the timely arrival of qualified stenographic reporters at the agreed upon location.
•    Provide the additional deliverables, including, but not limited to, electronic versions of transcripts and DVDs that will be easily integrated into the department’s automated litigation support databases as and when required.
•    Plan would have an account management structure in place to handle the department’s stenographic reporting services requirements.
•    All stenographic reporters performing services under this contract shall own or be provided with stenographic reporting equipment, in working order as of the time each stenographic reporting assignment commences.
•    Ensure that stenographic reporters and videographers assigned to perform stenographic reporting services or videography.
- Agency assumption regarding unit-based and performance-based payment structure contain provisions for liquidated damages, which would be assessed for lapses in performance, including, but not limited to, failure of a scheduled stenographic reporter to arrive at the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time, and failure to deliver to the department an accurate transcript that conforms to the department page specifications within the turn-around time that was agreed to when the assignment was accepted.
